Sites to be cut to a height of 3 inches or less, trimmed along streets, sidewalks, and structure perimeters. Removal of Formosa Mimosa and other undesirable tree growth. Beechwoods Basketball Hoops The purpose of this project is to replace six existing basketball backboard systems and associated height adjusters in Beechwoods Recreation Center to ensure safety, improve functionality, and enhance the overall athletic experience. The replacement systems should meet current industry standards and provide reliable, adjustable, and durable equipment suitable for a gymnasium of approximately 21, 285 square feet.
Replacement of six existing basketball backboard systems and associated height adjusters. Six motorized basketball backboards with ceiling- mounted lift systems, breakaway rims with standard netting, and adjustable rim height settings of 8- 10 feet. Motorized/electronic height adjustment systems capable of electronically adjusting between 8 and 10 feet. Removal and disposal of existing systems. Installation of new systems. Testing and training for facility staff. Manufacturer warranty details and recommended maintenance guidelines.
