Sealed bids are requested for hydrogen peroxide totes by the Albany County Water Purification District. Bids are due by 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 20, 2026. RFB documents can be obtained from the Albany County Purchasing Agent or downloaded from the Empire State Bid System website starting July 30, 2026. Prices must remain firm for the bid period of January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027, with potential for two one-year renewals. Delivery is required to either the North Plant (1 Canal Road South, Menands, NY ****) or the South Plant (209 Church Street, Albany, NY ****). No bid security is required. Bidders must submit a vendor responsibility questionnaire. The county reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Insurance requirements include Workers Compensation, Automobile Liability ($500,000 combined single limit), and General Liability ($1,000,000 combined single limit). Payment will be made upon submission of a completed Albany County claim form after inspection and acceptance of goods. Cash discounts may be offered but will not be considered in determining the low bidder. Bids are extended to all political subdivisions and authorized districts in New York State.
