Request for Proposals ( RFP) for citywide janitorial services Janitorial services agreement for January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2027, with the possibility of three one- year extensions. The services include cleaning of various city facilities: community cultural center and playhouse, council chamber building, centennial recreation center, aquatics center, corporation yard, downtown parking garage, city hall/development services center, and police department. Additional services for all city facilities are also included. Specific cleaning tasks and schedules are detailed for each facility. Base bid and alternate bids are included for different services and facilities. See attachments for details.

The city will be awarding this agreement using a best value methodology including evaluation of price, responses to technical questions, and if necessary, interviews.
Proposals that receive less than 30. 0 points will be eliminated from further consideration.
Failure to turn in inspections by the deadline will result in a monthly payment being withheld until inspections are returned, and a $100 deduction from their monthly payment. There will be a financial impact to the service provider if any scheduled use, including, but not limited to, special events or recreation programs of city facilities are impacted by neglect on the service provider's part.
A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting and facilities walk will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 9:00 AM at the Centennial Recreation Center.
