Galena Park Independent School District (GPISD) is seeking proposals for concrete work. The submission deadline is August 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM CST. Proposals should be submitted through the GPISD ebid system or manually. The contract will be for one year, with options for three additional one-year renewals. Payments are due to the vendor within forty-five (45) days after the later of the date GPISD receives the goods, the date performance is completed, or the date GPISD receives an invoice.
All goods and/or services must be warranted to be free from defects in material, workmanship, and design for a period of one (1) year upon acceptance or payment.
Awards will be made to responsible proposers whose proposals are determined to be the best value to GPISD, based on factors including price, reputation, quality, and past relationship.
A responsible vendor is one who has adequate financial resources, can comply with delivery requirements, and is a qualified and established firm regularly engaged in the type of business providing the listed items.
If a vendor fails to fulfill or abide by the terms and conditions, GPISD may insist the vendor honor quoted prices, pay the difference between quoted and actual prices, or recommend termination of the agreement.
The last day for questions is August 6, 2026, at 2:00 PM CT.
A proposer may be disqualified upon evidence of collusion, intent to defraud, or other illegal activities for unfair competitive advantage. Contacting district personnel during the proposal process may also result in disqualification.
GPISD anticipates expenditures not to exceed $600,000 in a one-year aggregate.
