emergency power systems at the Durham VA Medical Center. The anticipated period of performance is 1,129 calendar days from the notice to proceed. Interested companies must submit their responses by Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM EST, including company name, address, point of contact, email, phone number, SAM unique entry ID number, evidence of current SAM registration, company socioeconomic size, proposed NAICS code, proposed PSC code, capabilities statement, and experience with contracts of similar scope and magnitude. Additional information may be requested by the contracting officer at a later time. The magnitude of construction is currently between $250,000 and $500,000 but is subject to revision prior to release of a solicitation. The notice includes detailed requirements for design submissions (feasibility study, 30%, 60%, 90%, and 100% design submissions), specifications, construction cost estimates, submittal register, and final documents reproduction. Specific submission due dates are provided for each design submission phase. The VA will have 21 business days to review each submission. A bidder site visit and pre-construction meeting are required. A construction schedule must be submitted within 10 business days from the notice to proceed. Submittal review and logs, RFI response, construction change orders, monthly site inspections, and monthly progress meetings are also required. Project closeout, punch list, and record drawing submission are also part of the process.
