Repair or alteration of penal facilities Demolition and replacement of existing education chair lift, including disconnecting and protecting existing electrical service, removing the current lift assembly, and furnishing and installing a new ADA compliant inclined platform lift. The new lift system will include a complete platform assembly, drive and guide rail components, obstruction sensing devices, passenger restraining arms, retractable boarding ramps, kick plates, safety lighting, hand grips, low voltage controls, emergency stop features, and keyless operation. The contractor will also provide a new drive cabinet, integrated disconnect, battery backup system, call stations at each landing, and all associated programming, testing, and adjustments. All work must comply with ASME A18. 1, ADA ABA requirements, NFPA, NEC, and all applicable federal, state, and local codes.
