This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Yamaha outboard engines. The acquisition supports the Caribbean Security Basin Initiative (CBSI) by providing replacement engines for Jamaica Defense Force Coast Guard vessels. Offers must be submitted electronically by July 16, 2026. Technical acceptability is based on meeting all specifications in the salient characteristics. Award will be made to the lowest priced technically acceptable offer. Vendors must be authorized dealers or direct suppliers of Yamaha engines. Payments will be made via government purchase card or Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF). Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) is required prior to award.
Delivery is on or before November 30, 2026.
Payments will be made via government purchase card (GPC) or Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF). The government will not pay or reimburse any credit card processing fees, transaction fees, or surcharges. All submitted quotes must be fully all-inclusive of any such fees. The vendor must explicitly state their preferred payment method (GPC or WAWF) within their quote submission.
Engines have a manufacturer's limited 3-year pleasure, 3-year government, and 1-year commercial warranty. All items shall be covered by the manufacturers warranty.
Award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of quotes meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for non-cost factors. The government will evaluate the technical quote on an acceptable/unacceptable basis. Technical acceptability is defined as meeting all specifications in the solicitation and being able to provide the items per salient characteristics. Offers shall be ranked in order of lowest price to highest price. The lowest priced offer shall be evaluated first. If the lowest priced offer is technically acceptable, no other offers will be evaluated.
