Interested bidders must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www. ***. *. * FBOP is seeking small business contractors for this project. Your business size metrics information entered in your SAM registration must be less than or equal to the small business size standard specified above to qualify as a small business. You should be certified in accordance with SBA requirements if you are claiming a socioeconomic status.

The estimated magnitude of this project lies between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.

Contractor will invoice only once per month. Contractor will submit a paper copy of the invoice for review and approval by COR prior to submitting to the government for payment. Certified payroll will be submitted to COR prior to submitting invoice to the government for payment. Final payment, is allowed in the same month a previous payment has been made, providing all closure documents release of claims, completed punch lists, final certified payroll, and other required documentation has been submitted and approved.

The contractor will have minimum ten 10 years current experience repairing high pressure boilers working within the ASME R code. Contractor will have and maintain ASME welding certification and NBBI R certification at time of bid submission and during the life of the contract. Loss of the R certification shall be cause for immediate termination of the contract. Contractor will also have staff certified to the ASME welding code applicable to requirements of the R stamp for other general piping repairs. No other welder certification will be acceptable for any work on this contract.

Loss of the r certification shall be cause for immediate termination of the contract. Contractor will provide certificate of asme certification at time of bid submission and during the life of the contract. Loss of asme welding certification shall be cause for immediate termination of the contract.

The performance period for the project will be 235 calendar days from issuance of the notice to proceed.

Payment will be processed via electronic funds transfer EFT in accordance with **** Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer System for Award Management.

Offerors must be registered in SAM. gov and their business size metrics must be less than or equal to the size standard for NAICS code ****.

A site visit is mandatory. Meeting minutes and sign-in sheets from the site visit have been added as an amendment.

Failure to be registered in SAM. gov or to meet the business size standard may affect qualification for award.

The award will be made to a responsible entity that will provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, and incidentals necessary to remove the existing 4,800 Mbtu summer boiler and install a new 7,500 Mbtu watertube boiler system.
