The bid opening date for the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal maintenance dredging project has been extended to May 5, 2025, at 2:00 PM EDT. RFP documents for the construction of dredging facilities in Mobile Harbor were initially posted on SAM. gov on February 25, 2025, and are now also available on PIEe. The contract involves maintenance dredging to a depth of 52 feet, requiring cutterhead and hopper dredges, crew, management, and support equipment. Dredged material will be transported to the ocean disposal site south of Dauphin Island, AL. Further details are available in the attached solicitation package.

This is a design-bid-build project for the construction of miscellaneous buildings, specifically focused on Phase 1A of a larger project. Only awardees of NMACC III Pool 1 are eligible to participate. The project involves demolition, upgrading utilities, replacing docks, and dredging contaminated sediment at Base Seattle to support the homeporting of new USCG polar security cutters. CERCLA cleanup is required.
