The City of Westland is seeking proposals for professional services related to Nankin Square holiday lighting. Proposals are due November 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Electronic submissions are accepted. All questions must be submitted via email to ***@***. *. * by November 5, 2025, at 5:00 PM. The project must be completed by Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Removal must be completed within the 1st week of February, 2026. The city reserves the right to conduct a qualifications-based selection process. The proposal award will not be based solely upon cost, but will be evaluated based upon criteria formulated around the most important features of services, of which experience, references, capacity, and scheduling may be overriding factors.
The project must be completed by Wednesday, November 26, 2025.
Awarded bidders should allow for approximately 30 days from receipt of invoice to receive payment from the city of westland.
The contractor shall monitor nankin square amphitheatre throughout the holiday season weekly visits, minimum to check and ensure all lights are working, to reset gfi outlets at the top of light poles if necessary, and to replace or repair any light strands that fail or become detached, as needed, through january 15, each year.

Proposers shall demonstrate competence, experience, and financial capability to carry out the terms of this contract. the city will require proof of these qualifications.
