The County of Kenosha, Wisconsin, is requesting bids to update HVAC equipment at the pretrial facility. Bids must be submitted by 1:00 PM on January 14, 2026. A prebid conference will be held on December 16, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Background check forms are due by December 8, 2025. The contract will begin immediately upon award and will continue until project completion. The vendor responsibility form must be submitted by 5:00 PM on January 9, 2026.

The countys terms are to pay or reject invoices within 30 days of receipt.
A one-year warranty for defective workmanship and/or replacement of defective products/materials of the contract is required in addition to any warranties provided automatically by the manufacturers of the products/materials.
Awards shall be made on the basis of the lowest total base bid and/or alternate bids cost from a responsive, responsible bidder who meets specifications.
To be eligible for a contract award, you must be qualified and able to provide the following: 12. 1 bidder must be authorized by manufacturer to sell and install their products. 12. 2 bidder must supply references of three firms to which similar services have been provided during the past five years to a comparablesized institution or company. if contacted, all of those references must verify that a high level of satisfaction was provided. use attachment b to list references. 12. 3 bidder must be in the business of providing hvac upgrade services for the past five years.
A vendor conference prebid meeting will be held at 10: 00 am on ****, starting at the kenosha county administration building 2nd floor conference room, **** 56th street, kenosha, wi **** and continuing to tour the pretrial facility.
