The Portage County Purchasing Department is seeking proposals for unarmed security guard services at the Portage County Courthouse. Proposals must be submitted by February 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The contract term is from a mutually agreed-upon date in 2026 through December 31, 2029, with a possible 3-year renewal. Proposers must have been engaged in business of providing security guard services for at least 1 years.
In the event that proposer fails to provide adequate replacement staff during normal scheduled hours, the county reserves the right to invoice the proposer an amount equivalent to the overtime county deputys hourly rate as a penalty for nonfulfillment of contracted services.
