The bid deadline for submission of proposals is April 24, 2026, at 4:00 PM CDT. Bids received after this date and time shall be rejected.

Payment for services will be made monthly on approved invoices, with payment terms of net 30 days upon receipt of invoice.

In making an award, the county will look at price, delivery, and warranty.

Interested bidders must provide examples/case studies of previous tax statement mailing projects which include references, names, and contact information from four 4 collectors for whom this work has been performed. Bidders must provide a current copy of the USPS MDP mail design professional certification.

In case of default by the contractor, the county of Callaway will procure the articles or services from other sources and hold the bidder responsible for any excess cost occasioned thereby.

Questions related to bid 15 must be submitted in writing no later than seven 7 working days prior to bid opening. No addenda will be issued less than four 3 days prior to the bid opening date.

The bid notice states that the completion date is ovember 15, 2026.

The bidder shall submit a bid guaranty meeting the requirements of section 102 of the missouri standard specifications for highway construction.

The bidder agrees that, should the bidder fail to complete the work in the time specified, the amount of liquidated damages to be recovered shall be **** per day.

The Callaway County Commission has the right to accept the offer the county commission considers the most advantageous to the county.

The county commission reserves the right to cancel all or any part of the orders if delivery is not made or work is not started as guaranteed. In case of delay, the vendor or contractor must notify the county clerk, or in the case of a road and bridge bid, the county engineer or county commission. Failure to deliver as guaranteed may disqualify vendor from future bidding.
