Each bidder shall be fully qualified by ability, knowledge, and experience to satisfactorily perform the service required in these specifications and shall be engaged in the business of providing miscellaneous industrial hardware, related materials, and supplies by the use of its own trained and qualified employees and have the equipment, tools, materials, and supplies capable of performing the mentioned services within the required time frame. Sealed bids must be in the purchasing department no later than 10:30 am Central Time on August 8, 2025.

If a requested repair is covered under the manufacturer's warranty, the contractor is responsible for managing the repair directly with the manufacturer. No charges will be transferable to mawss for warrantied repairs.

Award will be made by total cost.

The bidder must substantiate the ability to perform all necessary crane and hoist service, inspection, certification and services by including and providing a statement of experience with a minimum of two current references and two past performance in repairs and inspections.

Annual inspections shall be the contractor's responsibility to maintain and perform. All inspection site visits must be scheduled with the designated mawss designee to ensure all cranes and hoists are available, and there is no disruption to plant operations. A minimum of 5 days notice is required.

Bidder understands that his/her bid shall be good and may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty 60 calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids.
