Sheathing Biddings - Procurement Opportunities

The Educational Service District 112 (ESD 112) is seeking a contractor to perform a complete tear-off of existing rolled torchdown roofing, replacement of any dry rot in the sheathing, and installation of new TPO roofing membrane at their main campus. The bid is due by 2:00 PM on May 12, 2025. Pre-bid site meetings can be scheduled with Jeff Grimes. Questions must be submitted in writing by May 3, 2025. The bid must include all labor, materials, equipment, warehousing, transportation, installation, testing, necessary service, incidental parts, components, and accessories required to perform the project in accordance with all ESD 112 performance standards, and Washington state, city of Vancouver, and Clark county health and safety regulations. The contractor shall be responsible for clean-up and removal of all rubbish. Prevailing wage rates apply. Additional documents required include a non-collusion affidavit, corporate profile, completed reference form, pricing form, proposer's offer and acceptance, proof of insurance, bonding, and any other necessary documents. Bids shall be sealed and clearly marked. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all applicable state and federal laws governing the confidentiality of information. ESD 112 reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.

This is a firm fixed price construction contract for open-end roofing repairs and reroofing at various army installations in Oahu, Hawaii, excluding medical facilities. The work includes removal and installation of roofing materials, gutters, downspouts, flashing, and replacement of damaged lumber sheathing. Incidental painting of exposed wood surfaces is also included. The contractor is responsible for moving obstructions, reporting any damage to items, and maintaining daily cleanup. Hours of operation are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Quantities for lumber and steel replacement are estimated, and the contractor must maintain records for verification. Variances of 10 or greater will require contract modifications. The roof will be replaced in- kind with a new slate shingle roof assembly, replacement of damaged sheathing, and new snow guards. Flashings, gutters, and downspouts are anticipated to remain in place.
