Tarrant County is seeking contractors to replace the heat boilers at the Tarrant County Corrections Center. The existing boilers are original to the building and are at the end of their life. The bid will be awarded to a single contractor who meets or exceeds all specified requirements. A mandatory in-person pre-bid conference will be held on April 22, 2026, at 10:00 AM CST. Vendors planning to attend must RSVP via email by April 21, 2026. Questions from bidders will be addressed at the pre-bid conference. Vendors who submit a bid without attending the pre-bid conference do so at their own risk. Tarrant County will not provide copies of RFB documents; vendors must download their own copies. Required attachments include a safety record questionnaire form. Insurance requirements include workers compensation, commercial general liability, auto liability, builders risk, and umbrella liability. A warranty is required for the products. Bidders must also provide diversity certifications and four references. Bidders must certify they are not on the federal government's list of suspended, ineligible, or debarred entities. Bidders must comply with HB **** regarding disclosure of interested parties. Vendors must also represent and warrant that they do not boycott Israel, are not engaged in business with Iran, Sudan, or foreign terrorist organizations, do not boycott energy companies, and do not discriminate against firearm and ammunition industries. Local preference may be applied. The bid submission deadline is May 4, 2026, at 2:00 PM CT.
