The county will award a contract based on the proposal that best meets the needs of the county, seeking the optimal combination of quality, price, and various qualitative elements.
Proposers must be a nonprofit, for-profit organization or other legally constituted business entity, have a current medical certification or the ability to become medically certified, and have no record of unsatisfactory performance with any government agency or county department.
False certification for local preference may result in disqualification, termination of agreement, and seeking damages. Falsely obtaining certification can lead to ineligibility to transact business with the county for one to three years.
Site visits may be conducted to verify information submitted in the RFP and to determine if the proposed facilities are appropriate for the proposed services to be provided.
Protests based on any omission or error, or on the content of this RFP, may be disallowed if not submitted in writing prior to the deadline for submission of questions or at least ten calendar days before the deadline for proposals, whichever occurs last.
Failure to adhere to the sole contact point policy may result in disqualification. Late or incomplete proposals will not be accepted. Failure to register with the ePRO system prior to the deadline will result in disqualification.
The projected allocation for this service/program is approximately $19,087,102 for the 23-month period.
