The City of Monticello is seeking a contractor to design and construct custom skate park features. Proposals are due March 24, 2026. The skate park must be open by June 30, 2026. The contractor must provide a one-year warranty. The contractor shall invoice the city within 30 days of the completed project and the city shall make payment within 35 days of receipt of the invoice. The contractor must comply with all local and state laws and provide necessary licenses and insurance.
The skate park must be fully constructed, installed, and open for public use no later than June 30, 2026.

The contractor shall provide a minimum one-year warranty covering materials, workmanship, structural integrity, stabilization methods, and installation.
Proposals will be evaluated based on qualifications, experience, design quality, feasibility, cost, ability to meet the June deadline, and references.
The contractor must comply with all local and state laws, rules, and regulations provide their state contractor licensing information and provide proof of other licenses or certifications that might be required as a condition of the service.
The city reserves the right to cancel the contract with seven 7 days written notice for failure of the contractor to perform in accordance with the specifications.
If a contractor would like to visit the site to verify conditions, they may do so by contacting the parks superintendent to schedule a site visit.
