The City of Dayton, Ohio is seeking bids for herbicides, fertilizers, insecticides, application services, and related items. Bids must be submitted electronically by December 2, 2025, at 2:00 PM Dayton local time. A site visit to Community Golf Club is advised. All vendors must submit a current copy of their W9 with the bid. The city is seeking a price agreement through December 31, 2026, with a possible option to renew for two additional 12-month periods. Product labels, specification sheets, and MSDS must accompany all bids. Bids must include all shipping costs. The city is exempt from federal excise taxes and state retail sales taxes. The bid may be awarded to multiple bidders based on best pricing for materials, meeting specifications. All products bid, hazardous or nonhazardous, shall be in accordance with federal regulations and both the state of Ohio and city of Dayton ordinances. The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The city is using PCards Master Charge for many low dollar purchases based on any price agreements in effect please bid accordingly. All deliveries on this order must be in full accordance with specifications, properly identified with the purchase order number, and must not exceed the quantities specified. The vendor warrants all items delivered hereunder to be free from defects of material or workmanship, to be of good quality, and to conform strictly to any specifications, drawings or samples which may have been specified or furnished by the city of dayton, and the vendor further warrants that the vendor will have good title to the items free and clear of all liens and encumbrances and will transfer such title to the city of dayton. The city may, at any time, upon twenty days written notice to the contractor, terminate this purchase order in whole or in part for the citys convenience and without cause. Prior to any award on this bid the vendors must have a current affirmative action assurance form on file and approved by the city of dayton human relations council. The city of dayton is prohibited from purchasing, leasing, renting or taking onconsignment goods for use or for resale by the city which were produced under sweatshop conditions.

The notice provides guidance for contractor technical responsibilities and reporting requirements for the CAV AF system. Contractors must ensure accurate asset records in CAV AF, submit system authorization access requests, complete cyberawareness training, and follow login procedures. Shipping assets must begin within 10 days of receiving government disposition instructions and be completed within 30 days. The contractor must report overages, shortages, and misidentified items into CAV AF. The contractor will complete a 100% physical inventory inspection upon contract expiration.
