This is a non-personnel services contract for annual service maintenance contracts for the US Army Criminal Investigation Laboratory (USACIL) to provide regulated
medical waste (RMW) disposal services. The
contractor is responsible for all personnel, equipment, supplies, and other items necessary to perform RMW disposal to the standards in the contract. USACIL will provide a single collection point. The contract period is for a base year plus two option years: base year 31 Aug 25 - 30 Aug 26, option year 1 31 Aug 26 - 30 Aug 27, option year 2 31 Aug 27 - 30 Aug 28. The government will evaluate the
contractor's performance according to the USACIL quality manual, casework DNA division technical procedures, and the ASCLD/LAB ISO requirements. The
contractor must provide 26 bi-weekly pickups annually, up to 260 containers per year, with an anticipated 6-10 containers per pickup. Up to two additional pickups are possible for up to 20 additional containers. The
contractor must engage in an effective quality control program. The
contractor is not required to perform services on holidays. Business hours are **** Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays or government facility closures.
Contractor personnel must meet general access requirements for the Gillem enclave. All
contractor employees must complete AT Level I awareness training within 30 calendar days of the contract start date.
Contractor and subcontractor employees must provide information for background checks to meet installation access requirements. The
contractor must comply with all personal identity verification requirements. The
contractor agrees to attend any post-award conference convened by the contracting activity or contract administration office. The Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) will be identified by separate letter and will monitor all technical aspects of the contract.
Contractor employees will be required to display issued visitor identification while in the facility.
Contractor employee travel and labor expenses will be covered under the terms of the contract. Questions are due no later than 22 August 2025 at 12:00 PM. Proposals are due no later than 25 August 2025 at 10:00 AM.
