The City of Ventura is seeking qualified contractors for graffiti abatement services. Proposals must be submitted by December 4, 2025, at 4:00 PM PST. Proposals must include a hard copy and a PDF copy. The city may conduct interviews. The contract will be based on the City of Ventura's General Services Agreement. Subcontracting requires prior written consent. Any communication with city staff or elected city representatives, except for the purchasing and contracts division, regarding this RFP is prohibited. The city may alter the scope of work and negotiate changes to the contract pricing accordingly. The city may make regular unannounced inspections of abatement locations. Failure to correct work deficiencies within 24 hours may result in action being taken by the city. Damages incurred by the contractor must be reported within 24 hours. Invoicing for graffiti abatement services shall be billed upon the completion of each approved project.

The city will consider factors in the evaluation process including qualifications, experience, resources, responsiveness, references, and fee schedule.
The city requires that contractors maintain the applicable required insurance through the term of the contract with the city.
Failure to correct work deficiencies within 24 hours and any identified nonadherence with identified scope of work, in the citys sole discretion, shall result in action being taken by the city.
