Bids will be publicly opened April 4, 2025, 11:30 AM CST. Bidders must complete all required attachments, including an economically disadvantaged business participation summary sheet. A DBE goal of 30% has been established. No fax or email submissions accepted. Hard copy submissions required. Detailed submission instructions in bid documents. All bids must be received by the deadline. The contract may be awarded to a single bidder or to separate bidders. The board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bid pricing firm for 90 days after bid opening. The board reserves the right to evaluate bids and award items separately, grouped, or on an all-or-none basis. Any formal protest against the recommendation of award must be submitted in writing to the procurement director. All bids are the property of the board. The board may cancel or modify the bid at any time. The board is not liable for any costs incurred by prospective bidders prior to issuance of or entering a contract. The initial contract period will be two years, with two one-year renewal options. Drop shipments are not acceptable. Invoices must be submitted in duplicate to the accounting department. Firm proposals are desired. The law of the state of Louisiana shall govern this contract. The board has the right to audit records pertaining to the administration of this contract. The vendor is an independent vendor and will not be deemed an employee of the board. Nondiscrimination in employment and in the performance of the agreement is required.
