The Montrose Improvement District (MID) is seeking sealed bids for water distribution materials and supplies. Bids are due by May 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST. All pertinent documents can be obtained from the EmpireState Bid System. Bidders must submit a noncollusion affidavit and a hold harmless statement. Items will be inspected at the point of delivery, and any damaged or non-compliant items must be replaced within 5 business days at the bidder's expense. All items must be new, in factory-sealed boxes with detailed warranties. MID reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The successful bidder must provide a certificate of insurance within 5 business days of award. Purchases are not subject to taxes. The contract will be governed by the laws of the State of New York, with disputes adjudicated in the Supreme Court of Westchester County.

Changes in design, material, servicing, or part number require approval by the contracting officer via a written change order. Contractors are responsible for performing all inspection requirements unless otherwise specified. The government reserves the right to perform inspections.
