The period of performance for this work is 12 months from the time of award. The contractor shall coordinate and schedule work with the government representatives provided in this statement of work. The contractor is responsible for providing all their employees personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring they utilize PPE while on NNSY property. Mandatory PPE includes a hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed safety shoes, and hearing protection. Additional PPE may be required depending on the work being performed. The contractor shall provide and utilize proper guarding around every open-sided platform and work surface edge or shall use other means of fall protection. Contractors are prohibited from bringing onto federal property certain items, including alcohol, illegal drugs, firearms, and certain blades. The government will provide the brake disk and associated hardware. The government will provide lifting and handling support and a crane operator. A one-year warranty is required on all contractor-provided parts and workmanship.
