Greece Central School District is seeking quotations for an annual maintenance and repair agreement for its fleet of district-owned pianos. Services include tuning, regulation, and repairs. Technicians with 5 years of professional experience and verifiable institutional references are also encouraged to bid. If a piano tuning or approved repair is found unsatisfactory within 30 days, the vendor must resolve the issue at no additional cost. If the vendor fails to correct substandard work within five business days, the district may hire an alternate technician, and costs will be deducted from the vendor's invoices or billed directly. If the piano tuning or approved repair is found by the designated music teacher or director to be in an unsatisfactory or unplayable condition within thirty 30 days of service, the vendor shall be required to return to the school building to resolve the issue at no additional cost to the district.
The district reserves the right to reject any RFQ or pursue a responsibility review for entities on the New York State Iran Divestment Act prohibited entities list. Failure to supply skilled workers, proper materials, or to prosecute work diligently can lead to contract termination. The district reserves the right to reject any rfq, request for assignment, renewal or extension for an entity that appears on the prohibited entities list prior to the award, assignment, renewal or extension of a contract, and to pursue a responsibility review with respect to any entity that is awarded a contract and appears on the prohibited entities list after contract award.
