The award shall normally be made to the lowest responsible bidder meeting specifications. If the bid price exceeds $75,000, this project is subject to prevailing wage requirements under applicable Missouri law. Contractor will forfeit as a penalty to the city the sum of one hundred dollars **** for each workman, for each calendar day, or portion thereof, such workman is paid less than the said stipulated rates for any work done under this agreement, by the contractor, or by any subcontractor. The contractor shall forfeit as a penalty to the city the sum of two thousand five hundred dollars 2, **** plus one hundred dollars **** for each employee employed by contractor or any subcontractor, for each calendar day or portion thereof, such employee is employed without the required training.
A prebid meeting will take place on wednesday, march 18, 2026 at 10 a. m. in the board of aldermen chambers.
