Service providers are paid based on a fee schedule for initial assessment, skills training, and post-training assessment. All required documentation must be submitted within 35 calendar days of service completion for payment.

TWC will award contracts to qualified applicants throughout the enrollment period and may award multiple contracts. TWC may consider past performance or any other factor it deems to be in the best interest of TWC or the state of Texas.

Providers must meet specific requirements, including staff qualifications for diabetes educators, which involve experience and licensure. Staff must also complete Texas Confidence Builder training.
