The City of Aurora is seeking engineering services for the 6th Ave storm sewer and water quality pond design. Proposals are due electronically by June 22, 2026. A pre-proposal conference will be held via Microsoft Teams on June 5, 2026. Attendance is not mandatory but highly recommended. The procurement process involves three phases: technical qualifications, interviews, and price proposal negotiation. Firms must be established and financially responsible. The city reserves the right to amend the RFP.
Proposals shall be submitted electronically through the Rocky Mountain e-Purchasing System aka BidNet no later than 2:00 p. m. , local time, June 22, 2026.
Designer shall submit monthly invoices to be approved by the city's project manager. Upon submission of an approved invoice, payment shall be issued. The city may require up to thirty (30) days to process payment after the date of receipt of invoicing.
Designer shall promptly correct any defective, inaccurate or incomplete tasks, deliverables, services or other work, without additional cost to the city. The acceptance of designer's services by the city shall not relieve designer from the obligation to correct subsequently discovered defects, inaccuracies or incompleteness resulting from designer's negligent acts, errors or omissions.
Firms will be evaluated based on their exhibited understanding and familiarity with the project issues as demonstrated by the firm's unique perspective and presentation on the proposed strategies, approach, team structure, experience/expertise, and schedule.
Firms must be firmly established in an appropriate business, financially responsible, and have the resources and ability to offer services in a professional and expedient manner. Specialized experience and technical competence, project approach, and overall quality of the proposal are key evaluation criteria.

Failure to obtain all addenda from the Rocky Mountain e-Purchasing System may lead to reliance on incomplete, inaccurate, or out-of-date information when submitting proposals, subjecting such proposals to automatic disqualification from consideration.
