Design- Bid- Build Contract for Hangar Door Expansion Expansion of hangar doors at facility ****, Fort Hood, Texas, to support the HADES mission and accommodate the ME- 11B Bombardier Global **** aircraft. Project includes replacing two existing hangar doors with single 120- foot wide rolling sectional doors, requiring structural modifications to the pre- engineered metal building ( PEMB). Exterior improvements include extending trench drains and adjusting adjacent man doors and wall- mounted utility lines. Interior work involves installing higher- capacity motors, refinishing and restriping hangar floor, making minor partition and finish modifications, and replacing fan and motor control centers for existing Big Ass Fans ( BAFs). Extensive structural, fire suppression, and life safety analysis will be required.
