Geotechnical Investigation Government Bids & RFPs

The response to this Sources Sought notice must be submitted no later than 20 May 2026 at 8:00 AM PT.

Responders must include: business name and address, name of company representative and their business title, business size and type of small business if applicable, CAGE code, Unique Entity ID, and a capability statement.

The purpose of this work is to obtain a representative subgrade soil sample of the existing subgrade and perform all necessary testing.

The government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this RFI. Not responding to the RFI does not preclude participation in any further RFQ, if issued.

The bid notice does not specify a delivery deadline for the services, but the qualification due date is May 26, 2026.

The bid notice states that the government will select a single firm based on demonstrated competence and qualifications for the required work, with evaluation criteria including specialized experience, professional qualifications, capacity, and location.

Firms shall submit a completed SF 330, Architect-Engineer Qualifications Parts I and II, electronically to the points of contact listed. The submission shall not exceed 25 MB and 50 pages.

The bid notice states that respondents must submit a completed Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) and that the proposer's geotechnical reports shall be prepared, signed, and stamped by a California-licensed professional engineer. The proposer shall demonstrate experience providing geotechnical engineering services for California public school districts and familiarity with Division of the State Architect (DSA) requirements. The proposer shall have served as the geotechnical engineer of record on at least three California K-12 projects that have been reviewed by and closed out with DSA certification.
