This is an electronic bid for the onetime purchase of two 2 Promixs Polymer Blending Systems by the City of Kenner. Bidders must submit their bids electronically by May 14, 2026, at 9:45 a. m. CST. All questions regarding the bid must be submitted via email to ***@***. *. * no later than five working days prior to the bid opening. Addenda will be issued to answer all questions and will be posted on the City of Kenner's website. Bids must be written in ink or typewritten and signed by an authorized representative. The City of Kenner reserves the right to award contracts to the lowest responsive bidder on a lump sum or individual item basis. Freight charges must be included in the total cost or quoted as a separate item. Bids are binding for forty-five days after the closing date. A corporate resolution or other signature authorization may be required for submission. The successful bidder will enter into an agreement with the City of Kenner, with a maximum agreement amount of $39,**** will be made upon completion and acceptance by Kenner. Invoices must be submitted within 40 days of services billed. The contractor must maintain insurance coverage as specified. The agreement may be terminated for cause or convenience. The contractor must disclose any conflicts of interest and abide by non-discrimination laws. The City of Kenner or its designee has the option to audit all contractor accounts related to the agreement. The contractor shall not assign any interest in the agreement without prior written consent. The contractor is responsible for all taxes. The contractor and its employees are independent contractors. All records related to the agreement become the property of Kenner. The agreement represents the entire agreement between the parties. The contractor agrees to hold harmless Kenner from any claims arising out of the contractor's acts or omissions. The agreement is contingent upon the continued availability of funds. The contractor acknowledges the applicability of the Code of Governmental Ethics. The agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana. Subcontractors require prior written approval from Kenner. The contractor certifies that it does not discriminate against firearm entities or associations. Federal clauses may apply to federally funded agreements.
The electronic bids will be received until Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 9:45 a. m. CST.
Payment will be made only upon completion and acceptance by Kenner. Contractor shall invoice Kenner upon such completion and acceptance by email to ***@***. *. * must be submitted within forty 40 days of services materials billed for.
The City of Kenner reserves the right to award contracts or place orders with the lowest responsive bidder, on a lump sum or individual item basis or such combination as shall in its judgment be in the best interest of the city. Awards will be based on compliance with the specifications and the delivery and/or completion date.
By submitting a bid, the bidder certifies that it has a carefully examined and understands the bidding documents, has not received, relied on, or based his bid on any verbal instructions contrary to the bidding documents or any addenda, has personally inspected and is familiar with the project site, and hereby proposes to provide all labor, materials, tools, appliances and facilities as required to perform, in a workmanlike manner, all work and services for the construction and completion of the referenced project all in strict accordance with the bidding documents prepared by the City of Kenner.
