Galena Park ISD is soliciting proposals for general purchases (multi-award) on a continuous basis, with monthly awards. Proposals are to be submitted online via the GPISD eBid system. The contract term is initially five years, with monthly renewals. Awards will be made to responsible proposers whose proposals offer the best value, considering price, reputation, quality, and other factors. Communication with district personnel during the proposal process is prohibited. All required documents must be submitted by the response deadline of August 5, 2026, 2:00 PM CT.

Payments are due to the vendor within forty-five (45) days after the later of the date GPISD receives the goods, the date the service is completed, or the date GPISD receives an invoice.
All goods and/or services must be warranted to be free from defects in material, workmanship, and design for a period of one (1) year upon acceptance or payment.
Awards will be made to responsible proposers whose proposals are determined to be the best value to GPISD, based on factors including price, reputation, quality, and needs fulfillment.
A responsible vendor is one who has adequate financial resources, can comply with delivery requirements, and is a qualified and established firm regularly engaged in the type of business providing the items listed.
If a vendor fails to provide goods/services at quoted prices or fails to fulfill terms, GPISD may insist the vendor honor prices, pay the difference, or recommend termination of the agreement.
Questions regarding requirements must be submitted no less than five (5) business days before proposals are due.
A proposer may be disqualified upon evidence of collusion, intent to defraud, or other illegal activities for unfair competitive advantage. Late proposals will also be disqualified.
