Basin Government Bids & RFPs

Delivery is on or before November 30, 2026.

Payments will be made via government purchase card (GPC) or Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF). The government will not pay or reimburse any credit card processing fees, transaction fees, or surcharges. All submitted quotes must be fully all-inclusive of any such fees. The vendor must explicitly state their preferred payment method (GPC or WAWF) within their quote submission.

Engines have a manufacturer's limited 3-year pleasure, 3-year government, and 1-year commercial warranty. All items shall be covered by the manufacturers warranty.

Award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of quotes meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for non-cost factors. The government will evaluate the technical quote on an acceptable/unacceptable basis. Technical acceptability is defined as meeting all specifications in the solicitation and being able to provide the items per salient characteristics. Offers shall be ranked in order of lowest price to highest price. The lowest priced offer shall be evaluated first. If the lowest priced offer is technically acceptable, no other offers will be evaluated.

Quotes will only be accepted directly from authorized dealers or vendors capable of providing the specific brand name engines designated in the salient characteristics. Failure to furnish a complete quote may result in the quote being unacceptable to the government and elimination from consideration for award. Quotes will not be accepted from third-party agencies or brokers.

Delivery is requested ASAP after notice of award, receipt of purchase order, or authorized calls for delivery. Bidders guaranteed delivery is ____ days. The county reserves the right to reject any bids that propose a lengthy delivery schedule if the items are required promptly.

County terms of payment are 2 10 net 30. Bidder may offer alternate terms here: Discount and alternate terms will not be used in award determination.

All materials shall be new products manufactured by the manufacturer for which pricing is submitted and shall be supported by the manufacturers standard warranty.

Award will be made to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the highest discount from the manufacturers current published price list.

The purchasing agent reserves the right before making award to make investigations as to whether or not the items, qualifications or facilities offered by the bidder meet the requirements set forth herein and are sufficient to insure the proper performance in the event of an award. The bidder must be prepared, if requested, to present evidence of experience, ability and financial standing.

Should the vendor fail to perform as required by the specifications, the county may cancel the order and terminate the ordercontract. In such event, the county will assume no responsibility for, nor will it reimburse the vendor for any expense or loss to the contractor because of such termination or cancellation.

When required must be delivered prior to the bid opening and free of charge. Samples will be returned at bidders expense and bidder is required to arrange for pick up.

Vendors protesting or disputing bid specifications must do so in writing during the bid opening period prior to the due date to be considered. Such protests must be in the possession of the bureau of purchase and supplies three working days prior to the bids opening.

Failure to complete this bid in its entirety may result in disqualification. Copies obtained from any other source are not considered official documents and will be considered incomplete if missing addenda, if any, resulting in disqualification.
