Scrubber Government Bids & RFPs

The Gordon County School System (GCSS) is soliciting bids for custodial equipment for all school locations. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope by 2:00 PM Eastern Time on May 20, 2026, at the GCSS Central Office. Interested parties must use the enclosed bid form and review all terms, conditions, and attached documents. The bid will be reviewed and awarded equitably, with GCSS reserving the right to accept or reject any or all offers, waive irregularities, and award by group or line item. The contract may be unilaterally terminated by GCSS for convenience, lack of funds, or contractor failure. Key requirements for submission include: - Three (3) reference letters of service to similar structures (schools, colleges, universities). - Bids must be on the provided form, with unit price governing in case of discrepancies. Four (4) copies are requested (1 original, 3 copies). - Unit price must include shipping and handling; no additional costs will be paid by GCSS. - Successful vendor must provide training to the lead custodian on the use, safety features, and preventative maintenance of the equipment at the school location. - Payment will be made upon satisfactory receipt of items, and GCSS operates with a purchase order system. - The solicitation bid shall only be modified by an addendum. - The contract will be awarded to the responsible vendor whose bid is the most advantageous and best value to GCSS. - Information on bid tabulations and awards will be available upon request after the award. - Final acceptance is contingent upon the approval of the GCSS governing board. - Neither party is bound until a written contract is negotiated and mutually accepted. - Bids are subject to the Georgia Open Records Act. - A primary contact person must be assigned to GCSS for all communication. - GCSS will not honor price increases, fuel surcharges, or add-on costs during the bid period. - GCSS reserves the right to negotiate with proposers for best and final offers.
