Chief Joseph Dam Upstream Monolith Joint Sealing - This Synopsis/Pre- Solicitation Notice is ONLY A NOTIFICATION that a solicitation is anticipated and forthcoming. All questions regarding this Synopsis/Pre- Solicitation should be submitted in writing to the Point of Contact( s) indicated below.

Construction of other non- building facilities Upstream monolith joint sealing at Chief Joseph Dam in Bridgeport, Washington. Drilling and installation of waterstops at monolith joints, diver applied sealing, and incidental related work. New waterstops will be constructed at spillway monolith joints 11 12, 15 16, 17 18, and 18 19 non overflow monolith joint 27 28 and closure section monolith joint c2 c3. Spillway waterstop work will be performed from the ogee crest of the spillway and will require contractor supplied construction access. Waterstop work at the other locations will be performed from the roadway deck. Diver work will occur from the forebay on the upstream face of the spillway and will include performing an inspection and sealing leaking monolith joints, lift lines, and cracks.

Construction of canals Wall repair replacement and vehicle and pedestrian bridge replacement. The project is a lava rock wall channel. The channel dimensions are approximately 24 feet wide, 8 feet deep, and 0. 9 miles long. Wall repair replacement work may include: mortar repointing, concrete walls, concrete blocks, geotextiles, drainage culverts, irrigation systems, fencing, waterstop installation, road reconstruction, pavements, and pavement striping. Bridge replacement work may include: demolition of roadway culverts, demolition of pedestrian bridges, traffic control, installation of new roadway bridges, installation of new pedestrian bridges, and road reconstruction. The bridges will include reinforced concrete decks, railings, abutments, and wingwalls.
