The City of Waco is seeking bids for the supply and delivery of bulk liquid oxygen and an annual technical inspection of their liquid oxygen storage and vaporization system. Bids are due August 20, 2026, at 11:00 a. m. CT. Questions are due August 12, 2026. The award will be based on the lowest responsible bidder or best value. Electronic bidding is preferred via the eProcurement platform, but mail or drop-off submissions are also accepted. The contractor must furnish all product, transportation, delivery labor, and inspection services.
Bid proposals must be received by 11:00 a. m. Central Time on August 20, 2026.
Payment is due thirty (30) days after acceptance of order and receipt of an original invoice. Early payment discounts may be offered.
The vendor warrants that the product sold to the city shall conform to the standards promulgated by the U. S. Department of Labor under the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA).
The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder or based on the best value to the City of Waco.
Vendors are responsible for examining and being familiar with all specifications, standard provisions, instructions, and terms and conditions of the solicitation.
No pre-bid meeting is scheduled.
Samples of specified items or alternate submission items, if required, shall be furnished free of expense to the city.
A written protest must be filed no later than 5:00 p. m. on the fifth (5th) business day from the date of receipt of notification of the recommendation for the contract award.
Contacting someone other than the purchasing agent listed above, or his/her designated representative, may be grounds for removal from consideration.
