The bid notice states that the primary objective is to secure a long-term, comprehensive publishing partnership for the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, Business Horizons journal, which includes dispensing a set minimum royalty annually.

The bid notice states that selection of the successful suppliers will be based upon a variety of factors such as: financial considerations, including but not limited to: set yearly royalty payment, with incentives for extra deliverables, editorial stipend, publisher support for the journals inhouse editorial staff, including but not limited to: ability to create a unique publisherjournal relationship, flexibility to capitalize on the journals competitive advantages, willingness to allow inhouse management of the submission and editorial process, acceptance of terms conditions, including but not limited to: no publisher platform mandate, wcag and other accessibility compliance, ongoing promotion of the journal, publisher experience, stability, and reputation. These criteria are listed in order of importance.

The bid notice states that all prerequisites must be agreed to before a proposal can be submitted.

Remote or onsite demospresentations will be scheduled as deemed as determined by IU.

Participants questions concerning the proposal must be received no later than January 23rd, 2026, at 5:00 PM Eastern Time.
