The Long Beach Public Utilities Department (LBPUD) is soliciting proposals for water intrusion assessment and mitigation with full contractor services at the gas campus location. Proposals must be submitted electronically via the Long Beach Buys portal by October 1, 2026, at 11:00 am Pacific Time. Attendance at the mandatory preproposal meeting and site walk is required for proposal submission. The evaluation is based on approach (40%), experience (30%), and price (30%). The awarded contractor warrants a minimum of one year against failure due to defective material or faulty workmanship.
LBPUD will pay invoices in due course, usually no more than thirty 30 days after receipt of the invoice, providing that all work performed during the preceding month has been in accordance with the awarded contract, and that applicable documentation has been submitted in accordance with the contract.
