Z-- GAOA TETON DAM RECONSTRUCTION - This is a pre- solicitation notice for GAOA TETON DAM RECONSTRUCTION in accordance with drawings and specifications. The project is located at the Teton Dam located in Carbon County, approximately 13 miles west of Rawlins, WY.
Teton Dam Reconstruction 1 dewater reservoir and the construction area. 2 excavate a portion of the existing dam embankment and foundation to remove the existing outlet works structures and construct the new outlet works. 3 strip the upstream and downstream surface of the dam embankment to remove all vegetation. 4 reconstruct the dam embankment, including: a placement of compacted fill from onsite borrow sources. b placement of compacted lime amended fill. c placement of imported riprap and riprap bedding in designated areas of the upstream face. d placement and compaction of imported sand and gravel for internal filter and drain features. e construct a toe drain system consisting of drain pipes, precast concrete manholes, flow measurement flumes, and imported sand and gravel. 5 construct new outlet works, including: a a precast concrete outlet works tower. b concreteencased, precast reinforced concrete pipe outlet conduit. c concrete gated lowlevel inlet, stem encasement, and gate pedestal structures. d grou
