Food Waste Government Bids & RFPs

The solicitation close date is May 21, 2026.

All questions shall be submitted no later than 7 days prior to the solicitation close date.

The Performance Work Statement (PWS) outlines various deliverables with specific due dates, such as the date of contract award for food and beverage services, menus, and the price/portion book. For example, the PWS states, food and beverage services 1. 5 date of contract award 12 months.

The bid notice mentions a government subsidy to ensure a minimum guaranteed profit of $8,000 per month during the base year, increasing annually. The government will subsidize any losses to ensure this profit, with proper documentation required monthly. The bid notice states, The contractor shall receive a minimum guaranteed profit of 8,000 per month during the base year.

The contractor must provide a Quality Control Plan (QCP) prior to contract award. Additionally, contractor personnel assigned to the Vault Café require a favorably adjudicated tier 2 investigation. The bid notice states, The contractor shall provide a QCP prior to contract award. See attachment 3 Quality Control Plan QCP inspection sheet. and Contractors assigned to the Vault Café require a favorably adjudicated tier 2 investigation.

Repeated deficiencies, failure to meet performance thresholds, or failure to timely correct discrepancies may result in corrective action and/or adverse performance evaluation. The quotes are due by April 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM local time MST.

The government shall consider your discount terms to be net 30 FOB destination.

The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government considering technical capability and price.

The contractor shall be registered in the SAM database and be registered under the chosen NAICS, found on page one 1, prior to the award of this contract.

All questions regarding this RFQ must be emailed to the contracting officer and contracting specialist, found on page one 1. All questions are due by 10:00 a. m. MST on 7 May 2026.
