Douglas County School District (DCSD) is seeking pre-qualification submittals from contractors for aerial lift inspection and repair services districtwide. Services include annual inspections, safety inspections, preventative maintenance, and reporting. Submissions are due by July 21, 2026. DCSD will establish a list of qualified contractors for future work. Pricing schedules are required, and contracts will be non-exclusive. DCSD is exempt from sales, use, and excise taxes.
Qualification information submission deadline is July 21, 2026, at 2:00 p. m. MDT.
All invoices are due and payable by DCSD net thirty (30) days from the date of receipt. DCSD may apply a 2% discount for payments made within fifteen (15) business days.
The Master Services Agreement mentions that contractors with unresolved warranty work requests on prior DCSD projects may be disqualified.
Submittals will be evaluated based on experience and qualifications (35 points), technical capability, certifications, staffing resources, and service capacity (25 points), similar project success and references (20 points), pricing schedule (15 points), and geographic coverage, responsiveness, and availability (5 points).
Contractors must provide a list of qualifications, including years of experience, location, number of employees, use of subcontractors, and relevant experience with public school districts. They must also demonstrate they have not had three or more willful or serious OSHA violations in the past three years.
The Master Services Agreement states that if a supplier breaches its obligations regarding accessibility standards, DCSD shall have the right to terminate the agreement for cause.
Inspections must occur on site. Repairs must also occur on site, unless specific circumstances prevent it.
Submission of incomplete data may constitute disqualification. Contractors with unresolved warranty work requests on prior DCSD projects may be disqualified.
