Truman State University is requesting quotes for a minitruck to be used for maintenance operations on campus. The deadline for submitting quotes is April 23, 2026, at 2:00 PM Central Time. Quotes can be submitted electronically via thumb drive or email. The university anticipates purchasing two vehicles but reserves the right to purchase any quantity or none. The minitruck must be a late model (manufactured after 2023) with a gasoline engine of at least 45 horsepower, automatic or CVT transmission, and all-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive. It must have a payload capacity of at least 1,000 pounds, two-person seating, an interior heater with defrost, and a rear cargo area of at least 4 feet. A white exterior is preferred. Vendors must provide manufacturer warranty documentation and an additional dealer warranty of at least 90 days. Information about the nearest service and parts facility is also required. Quotes will be evaluated based on compliance with specifications, product description, and other evaluation criteria. Prices offered must remain valid for 15 days from the quote opening date. Awards will be made to the vendor whose quote complies with requirements and is the best and lowest. Missouri vendors will be given preference if quality and price are equal or better. The university also encourages supplier diversity participation.
