Schenectady County is seeking bids for two virtual host servers. Specifications include CPU, RAM, boot drives, and Ethernet ports. A minimum one-year warranty is required, with annual renewal options. Warranty work will be performed at no charge. Payment will be made upon successful receipt of the order via purchase order. Delivery is to the address on the purchase order, with all costs factored into the bid. Bids are due by July 9, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The awarded vendor will receive a purchase order and will be paid upon successful receipt of the order. The awarded vendor will receive a purchase order via email for the amount listed on their bid. The county will pay the invoice upon success receipt of the order.
All equipment must have a minimum one-year manufacturer or vendor-supplied warranty, with options to renew annually. All equipment installed shall be provided with either a manufacturers warranty, or vendor supplied warranty of a minimum of one 1 year for both servers with options to renew annually.
Bids will be evaluated based on the lowest total bid cost and projected timetable, completeness of the bid, and the bidder's demonstrated capabilities and professional qualifications. Bids received will be evaluated by schenectady county and will be based, as a minimum, upon the following criteria: 1. Lowest total bid cost and projected timetable for completion of services or delivery of goods herein 2. Completeness of the bid and 3. Bidders demonstrated capabilities and professional qualifications.
Schenectady County may investigate bidders to determine their ability to perform the work. Bidders must be responsible and capable of fulfilling contract obligations. Schenectady County will make any investigation it deems necessary to determine the responsibility of anybidder to perform the work.
Questions regarding the project must be submitted by July 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM. July 2, 2026, at 2:00 pm: last date for questions to be submitted regarding this project.
Bids may be rejected if the bidder has previously failed to complete contracts on time or performed work unsatisfactorily. Bids may also be rejected if the bidder cannot demonstrate the necessary ability, plant, and equipment to commence and complete the work as specified. Bids received from bidders who have previously failed to complete contracts within the time required, or who have previously performed similar work in an unsatisfactory manner, may be rejected.
