This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items for the replacement and overhaul of the existing water main system at Modoc National Wildlife Refuge. The project includes replacing the main water line, installing new shutoff valves, and repairing disturbed areas. The period of performance is from July 1, 2026, to November 1, 2026. This is a total small business set aside. Contractors must be registered in SAM. gov. Bonds will be required for awards over $35,000. Site visits are available on May 22 and May 28, 2026. Questions are due by June 1, 2026, and proposals are due by June 15, 2026.
The period of performance for this project will be between July 01, 2026, and November 01, 2026. The actual start date will be agreed upon between the contractor and the refuge manager.
The contractor shall provide a minimum one-year workmanship warranty covering defects in materials and installation from the date of government acceptance.
The basis of contract will be on price, as acceptability for this requirement below. Award of the contract will be made to a responsible source pursuant to FAR subpart 9. 1.
The contractor must show within the proposal relevant water main overhaul meet or exceed experience by demonstrate the ability to successfully complete as follows all state and local law provides appropriate within the state of California.
Site visits are scheduled for Friday, May 22, 2026, from 11 am to 3:30 pm PST, and Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 11 am to 3:30 pm PST.
