The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) is seeking an event planner to organize three events: an ice cream social, an award ceremony, and a picnic. The planner will work closely with a point of contact, coordinate event setup and breakdown, contract with caterers, Bruster's ice cream, and other vendors. The events will take place at the NSA Mechanicsburg base on August 18th and 21st, 2025. The government has market research estimates from multiple caterers and caricaturists, but none are registered on SAM. gov. The prime contractor must be registered on SAM. gov and may use subcontractors, but should consider existing market research estimates. The planner must be available for onsite visits on August 20th and 21st, 2025. The scope of work includes coordinating with subcontractors, providing necessary equipment, and ensuring the timely setup and breakdown of event areas. The planner must also provide disposable tableware, utensils, cups, and napkins for the picnic. The event planner must also contract with a business to rent at least two portapotties. The government will provide certain venues and items, such as seating, restrooms, and trash cans.
