Sealed bids are requested for student
transportation services. Bids must be submitted in duplicate, properly filled out, signed, and sealed, marked 2025 2026 student transport helderberg, tech valley, lasallevanderhyden, sackettrensselaer academy and mailed to the district clerk by 10:00 am, August 4, 2025. Bidders must comply with noncollusive bidding certification requirements (Chapter 751, Laws of ****, amending section 103d of the General Municipal Law of New York). The successful bidder may be required to furnish a performance bond. Insurance requirements include public liability insurance, workers' compensation insurance (if applicable), and specific policy provisions. The contract term is from September 4, 2025 to June 30, 2026, with possible adjustments to routes, stops, and schedules. Payment terms are within 30 days. Vehicle specifications, including age limits, seating capacity, and maintenance requirements, are detailed. Mobile radio equipment requirements are also outlined. Bidders must comply with New York State vehicle and traffic laws, education laws, and school district policies. The school district reserves the right to amend or adjust the time schedule as needed. The district reserves the right to make changes to any of the proposed routes, and reserves to itself the right of approval on all routes. The district reserves the right to terminate the contract or reduce the contract price under certain conditions. Contracts will be awarded contingent upon board approval.
