The RFI responses should be submitted by the RFI due date and time, which is June 1, 2026, at 3:00 PM CST.

The corporate overview may include the ability, capacity, and skill of the vendor to deliver and implement the system or project, the character, integrity, reputation, judgment, experience, and efficiency of the applicant, whether the applicant can perform the scope of work, and the applicant's historical or current performance related to grant writing and/or implementation of federal, state, and/or privately funded grant projects.

Violations of the communication restrictions with NDE staff may be considered sufficient cause to reject a vendor's response to the RFI.

The project completion is expected by August 21, 2026.

The polyurethane coating will provide a 20-year warranty.

The firms qualifications will be evaluated based on the proven ability of each respondent to perform the requested services and any other factor of criterion that may be deemed relevant or pertinent for its evaluation of such qualifications. The evaluation will include: evidence of firms and proposed personnel's ability to perform all the work responsibilities; past experience with providing a similar set of services for projects of a similar size, scale, and purpose; provision of indemnity and insurance consistent with town requirements; proposed cost of services.

Firms must provide information demonstrating their qualifications to complete the work, including unique qualifications, past projects, and familiarity with local laws and regulations.

The successful bidder awarded a contract pursuant to this solicitation shall be liable for and pay the town of Johnston, as liquidated damages and not as a penalty, the following amount for each calendar day of delay beyond the date for substantial completion, as determined in the sole discretion of the town of Johnston: NA.

A prebid conference will be held at Johnston Senior High School on May 21st, 2026, at 2:30 pm.

Questions concerning this solicitation must be received by the owners project manager, Colliers Project Leaders, at ***@***. *. * no later than Wednesday, May 27th, 2026, by 5:00 pm.

Johnston Public Schools, or its agent may reject any bid or proposal from a bidder if that bidder, or its principals, are delinquent in the payment of any real estate, personal property, or motor vehicle tax, or sewer use charges or assessments, or are delinquent or obligated to the town of Johnston or Johnston Public Schools for any other form of debt or obligation.

The bid due date is June 22, 2026.
