Bids are due by 10:00 AM CT on July 21, 2026. Delivery shall be F. O. B. McKenzie County Road Dept. , Watford City, North Dakota. Bidders must specify the delivery date.

Upon acceptance of any bid, McKenzie County Road Dept. shall withhold five 5 percent of the bidder's net bid for at least thirty days after the delivery of said bid item to ensure compliance with all agreed upon specifications.

Upfitters warranty workmanship must be one year (12 months) for all installations. Monroe equipment has a one-year warranty from all installations. Crysteel includes 5 years total: 3 years (36 months) at 100% coverage, last 2 years (24 months) at 50% coverage. Crysteel paint warranty is 5 years. Force America has a one-year (12 months) warranty from delivery date.

The basis of the award shall be dependent on the most responsible bid submitted. Consideration will be given to purchase price, repurchase price, delivery date, equipment service guarantees, parts and service availability, parts and service facilities location, and analyses and comparison of equipment specification details.

Bids will not be considered unless accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of not less than five 5 percent of the total amount of the bid. Bids will not be considered that do not include a copy of the manufacturer's literature/specification material.

The county commissioners reserve the right to hold the bids for a period of not to exceed 30 days.

Failure to clarify any 'no' answers on a separate sheet may result in nonacceptance of the bid. Bids not including manufacturer's literature/specification material will not be considered.

Deliveries must be made between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM, Monday through Friday, unless other arrangements have been made with the school. The purchasing department must be notified if materials cannot be delivered within 30 days of receipt of a purchase order, and the district reserves the right to cancel any back orders over 30 days.

Payment will be made only after correct presentation of claim forms. Payments of any claim shall not preclude the school district from making a claim for adjustment on any item found not to have been in accordance with general conditions and specifications. True, accurate, and transparent billing is essential, with invoices including the basis for charges and supported by records. Overcharges discovered in audits must be refunded immediately.

The successful bidder guarantees products against defective material or workmanship and to repair or replace any damages or maiming occasioned in transit. They also guarantee adequate protection from damage for all work and to prepare damages of any kind for which they or their workmen are responsible.

The board of education reserves the right to award the bid to on either an item-by-item basis, grouped by like items, or in total by supplier, whichever results in the lowest overall cost to the district. The award will be made to the lowest responsible bidders on the specifications.

The submission of a bid will be construed to mean that the bidder is fully informed as to the extent and character of the supplies, materials or equipment required and a representation that the bidder can furnish the supplies, materials or equipment satisfactorily in complete compliance with the specifications.

Failure to deliver within the time specified, or failure to make replacement of rejected articles immediately, may result in the school district purchasing from other sources at the successful bidder's expense. Non-performance of the contract can result in cancellation at the successful bidder's expense. Failure to adhere to the integrity rider terms may result in forfeiture of any past or future right to payment.

The district reserves the right to request a representative sample of any product offered by any bidder. Samples must be provided at no cost to the district within five 5 days of request. Accepted bid samples do not supersede specifications for quality unless the bid sample is superior.

No interpretation of the meaning of the specifications or other contract document will be made to any bidder orally. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing, addressed to the school district, no later than five 5 days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids.

Illegible or vague bids may be rejected. Failure to comply with labeling requirements for cartons may be considered sufficient reason for refusal to accept the goods. Bids that do not comply with noncollusive bidding certification may not be considered for award.

Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p. m. , Monday, July 6, 2026.

All invoices will be paid after monthly statements have been received.

Award shall be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder who best meets the terms, conditions, instructions, specifications of the bid and most advantageous to the STPSB child nutrition program.

The successful bidder shall furnish a performance bond in the amount of $100,**** and a certificate of insurance within fifteen calendar days after award of bid but prior to start of service.

If scheduled deliveries are not made in time due to failure on the part of the vendor, or item does not meet specifications or is received in an unsatisfactory condition or is damaged or is in an unusable condition or if service is unsatisfactory, the vendor will be required to reimburse the school board for the cost of milk consumed for each of the meals involved.

The St. Tammany Parish School Board reserves the right to conduct a site visit/inspection of the low bidder's warehouse/facility before making an award.

Any protest to the award/rejection of a bid or proposal must be submitted in writing to Supervisor of Purchasing, 321 N. Theard Street, Covington, LA **** within one week from receipt of award/rejection letter.

Failure to comply with bid requirements, such as submitting bid security or required certifications, will cause your bid to be nonresponsive.
