A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for June 18, 2026. Bid bond required. Performance and payment bonds required upon contract signing. Specific licenses and certifications are mandatory. All workmanship and materials must have at least one 1 year guaranty, in writing, from the date of delivery and/or acceptance of the project.
Awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, taking into consideration the conformity with the specifications and the delivery and/or completion date.
Bidders shall be properly licensed in accordance with LA R. S. 37:2150-2163 and must possess a Louisiana State Contractors License with the classification of specialty: landscape, grading and beautification. The license number is required to be on the electronic envelope.
Liquidated damages may be assessed for unsatisfactory work, unauthorized tree removal, unapproved schedule changes, missed assignments, stump removal delays, and debris left at job sites.
It is the bidder's responsibility to visit the job site and evaluate the job before submitting a bid.
Written protest must be received within 48 hours of the release of the bid tabulation by the purchasing department.
Failure to comply with provisions, alter bid forms, not acknowledge addenda, submit late bids, or provide required documentation may result in bid rejection.
