The supplier agrees that the supplies or services furnished under the contract shall be covered by the most favorable commercial warranties the supplier gives to any customer for such supplies or services and that the rights and remedies provided herein are in addition to and do not limit any rights afforded to the districts by any other clauses of the contract.
The proposal evaluation team shall assign up to the maximum number of points for each evaluation item to each of the proposing vendors proposals. All assignment of points shall be at the sole discretion of the proposing evaluation team. Finalist interviews will be conducted. The criteria are: bidders experience and expertise (35%), capacity to meet requirements (40%), proposed methodology (10%), and price (15%).
The Red Clay School District is requesting proposals for behavior interventionists who possess excellent behavior management skills and experience with high-risk, disruptive students, the ability to work cooperatively with staff, adapt to and learn a behavior modification/mental health model, strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work with parents. A Bachelor's degree is preferred with a major in one of the behavioral or social sciences.
In the event the contractor does not fulfill its obligations under the terms and conditions of this contract, the Red Clay School District may purchase equivalent products on the open market. Any difference in cost between the contract prices herein and the price of open market product shall be the responsibility of the contractor.
Before submitting a proposal, bidders shall fully inform themselves of the nature of the work by personal examination of the site, and by such means as they consider necessary, as to matters, conditions, or considerations bearing on or in any way affecting the preparation of their proposal.
The districts may also request bidders to submit samples for examination and appraisal. Requested samples shall be submitted at no cost to the districts and may be required by the districts either prior to, at the time of the bid opening, or within ten calendar days following the request. Samples not provided as requested, will be reason to reject the bid for that item.
