The electrofisher combo includes a one-year limited product warranty.

The state reserves the right to make an award on the basis of low line item bid, low total of line items, or in any other combination that will serve the best interest of the state and to reject any and all bid items.

Award will be based on a comparative evaluation of quotes, considering technical capability, past performance, veteran involvement, and price.

Technicians must be factory trained and certified for the operating system, including software version. NICET Level 1-IV certification is required. NFPA 72 and OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification are required. Technicians should have 5-7 years of experience.

Each site is offering an opportunity for interested vendors to visit during the solicitation period. Only one time slot will be offered at each site. See site visit info attachment for details.

Payment for work covered under the contract will be made on a lump sum basis for a one-year period, billed monthly, in arrears, after receipt of a properly prepared invoice and verification of all required work and submissions. Payment will be made in arrears of the specified billing period after receipt of a properly prepared invoice, provided all required work, including preventive maintenance, submission of reports and all other requirements for the period in questions have been performed in accordance with contract stipulations, and can be verified with service reports signed by VA engineering COR or designee.

Contractor must have a minimum of five years within the last seven years of successful experience maintaining emergency power generation equipment identical or similar to the equipment listed. Offerors shall submit references for the five years of experience including names, addresses, and telephone numbers of specific companies and key personnel to contact. All mechanics technicians must possess OEM training and certifications for the specific manufacturer and model of emergency generator or fuel system serviced.

Contractors failure to schedule and perform maintenance or repair services within the specified time interval shall be considered non compliance with terms of contract, and VA will deduct proportionately from payments for services missed. The contractor shall not employ any individual identified as a potential threat to the health, safety, security, general well being, or operation of the VAMC facility or personnel. The contractor is fully responsible for the performance and conduct of all employees at all times and shall not permit any employee to perform work under this contract while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other incapacitating agent.
